Features:

For schools, I prepare a customized slide presentation that explains why and how I wrote a book. Please choose the title that best fits your needs. Possible curriculum connections: ancient Mexican and Andean cultures; women’s history and literature; African-American history and literature; Civil War history; Irish and Irish-American history; folklore and folk art.

Availability: Public, private, and charter schools or homeschooling grades 1-12. Adult writing classes and national, state or regional conferences anywhere.

Fee: $125 per session for schools in Charlottesville, VA, and adjacent counties. $500 for 3 school presentations elsewhere in Virginia. $500 for adult conferences in Virginia. Travel and lodging additional. Out of state additional.
